Bill Babe, Sales and Marketing Manager, Liquid X Printed Metals Bill Babe possesses more than eight years of successful technical sales and marketing experience. In his current role at Liquid X, Bill is responsible for project management, business development and sales, and market analysis. Prior to joining Liquid X, Bill ran the day to day operations for a regional distributor of water treatment products for the municipal water and wastewater industry. Bill has also acted as Marketing Manager/Technical Recruiter for a national engineering services firm with over 350 employees. In this role, Bill managed a multi-faceted marketing program to develop and refresh the marketing strategy; business intelligence tools; promotional materials; and public website. George Fuchs, Director of Regulatory Affairs and Technology for the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers George Fuchs has worked in the safety, health and environmental and various technical fields for more than 25 years. He began his career with the Allied Chemical Corp. in 1977, joined Pennwalt Corp. in 1988, and EniChem America (A division of the European chemical conglomerate – AGIP) in 1991. Casey Grenier, Ph.D., Material Scientist, R&D division of Tekscan, Inc. Casey Grenier received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 under the advisement of Professor W. Rudi Seitz. His research background is in polymer synthesis, analytical methods and measurements, and materials science in making various types of chemical sensors. Casey has been awarded research grants from national and international funding sources (NSF, NIH, JSPS, and SBIR grants), he has published multiple peer reviewed research papers, and has presented internationally for his work within chemical sensors. Dan Harrison, PhD, Executive Vice President, IIMAK Dr. Dan Harrison joined IIMAK in 1998 as Vice President, Technical Operations and was promoted to his current role in 2009. He holds 55 US patents in the field of digital printing and imaging and has developed various new thermal imaging technologies at IIMAK. He has also contributed to IIMAK’s efforts in the development of inks and coatings to expand the IIMAK Inks product offering. Dr. Stefanie Harvey, R&D Program Manager, SEMI Dr. Stefanie Harvey is a materials scientist with 23 years of product development and manufacturing scale-up experience in Silicon Valley companies, primarily focused on nanotechnology and interfacial engineering. She is a currently the R&D program manager at SEMI, focused on flexible hybrid electronics. Dr. Harvey has developed technology for semiconductor processing yield enhancement, MEMS devices for genotyping and gene expression, RF communications, and thin films for consumer electronics. Among other work, she led the team that built the world’s first dedicated carbon nanotube wire and cable production facility. She holds three U.S. patents, several international patents, and to date has published twenty-three peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Vijaya Kayastha, Lead Device Development Engineer, Brewer Science, Inc. Dr. Vijaya Kayastha is a Lead Device Development Engineer at Brewer Science, Inc. Dr. Kayastha has been in the carbon nanotube (CNT) field for last 18 years and has a broad range of experience in CNT synthesis and CNT-based device technologies such as sensors, thin-film transistors, electron field emission, and lithium-ion micro-batteries. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Kayastha has been extensively involved in printed sensors, devices, and materials, and he is leading and involved in the development and commercialization of multiple types of printed sensors including printed temperature, moisture, flex, pH, ionic conductivity, and VOC sensors. Dr. Kayastha has successfully led and has been actively involved in multiple government projects in developing a multitude of printed sensors. Lou Panico, CEO, XENON Lou Panico is a founding partner and CEO of XENON, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance Pulsed Light systems. He has supported food safety and food enhancement research conducted by universities and research organizations. His life-long commitment to the field has led to the discovery of many beneficial uses of Pulsed Light, which makes him an invaluable partner for researchers working in the food and beverage industry. Oshadha Ranasingha, Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Massachusetts Lowell Oshadha Ranasingha works as a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Massachusetts Lowell since spring 2019. He joined UMass-Lowell in fall 2017 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Currently he is working on functional ink development for printed electronics at Raytheon-UMass Lowell research institute and Printed Electronics Research Collaborative at UMass-Lowell. Before joining UMass-Lowell, he received a NSF postdoctoral fellowship to develop high performance transparent conductive inks for inkjet printers. Oshadha has more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the development of novel materials for various applications and more than three years of hands-on experience in functional ink development for printed electronics. Oshadha completed his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics at West Virginia University in 2015. Dene H. Taylor, PhD, President, SPF-Inc. For more than three decades Dr. Dene Taylor has been leading development and commercial success of printing products and processes. His involvement with digital printing began as a technical leader and inventor at James River Graphics (later Rexam Graphics). In 2000 he formed Specialty Papers & Films, Inc., (SPF-Inc), a technical consultancy serving the printing, packaging and coating industries, with innovative digital and analog solutions.
