James is the Director, Innovation Solutions Group with Jones Healthcare Group based in London Ontario Canada, a leader in folding carton, labels and contract pharmaceutical filling. In his role, James focuses on new packaging technologies for tomorrow and their potential impact and outcomes for consumers, patients and brand-owners. James has over 25 years of experience in prepress and print production with organizations such as TC and SGSCO. With successful projects run under a varying set of global verticals throughout his career, James brings a diverse understanding of the packaging market with an eye for reproduction quality under differing print methods. James also serves as a co-chair for IntelliPACK a North American industry association to help accelerate adoption of intelligent packaging products in the marketplace.

Eric Weaver

ERIC WEAVER is a digital transformation veteran who has spent 30 years counseling large enterprises and governmental agencies on either disrupting markets or dealing with disruption. Weaver leveraged his first career in enterprise software development to become one of the very first digital marketers in 1990, after which he has served as CEO, chief strategist, creative director, and client lead for major management consultancies and ad agencies. He has counseled the leadership teams at over 80 blue-chip brands on everything from brand building to digital operations to IoT use cases – and has built and led creative, production and strategy teams in London, New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Seattle, Detroit and Cincinnati.

Most recently the VP of the Xerox Customer Experience Practice, Weaver oversaw the company’s $550M marketing services team and led efforts around digital ledger technologies. He left Xerox in 2018 to launch Transparent Path – a technology provider creating a more agile, resilient and certain supply chain for food. Combining a unique combination of sensors, edge computing, and predictive intelligence, the company lets customers know when something goes wrong in the supply chain, act to correct the issue, and anticipate future issues before they occur.

Weaver has been twice recognized as one of the “Top 50 Marketing Thought Leaders Over 50” by Brand Republic, and has been quoted in AdAge, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, Hoover’s, Huffington Post, Inc. Magazine, InformationWeek, MediaWeek, the Seattle Times and the Washington Post. He speaks globally on digital transformation, food supply chain, blockchain, and marketing ethics. Weaver gives back to the marketing profession as a guest lecturer for a number of schools that include the University of California at Berkeley, Dublin City University, and the University of Washington.

After receiving a master’s degree in industrial engineering at Oregon State University, Sai Srinivas Desabathina started working with Liquid Wire Inc. as a Manufacturing Engineer. Liquid Wire is dedicated to embedding electronics into the physical world through a range of dynamically stretchable and flexible circuits using their proprietary Metal Gel. Sai’s responsibilities include designing and characterizing Liquid Wire soft circuits and sensors. Recently, Sai’s Liquid Wire team was successful in developing an inductive proximity/touch sensor for the medical and performance apparel industries.

Christian Brox-Nilsen is currently R2R Production Manager at Ynvisible Production AB after working a year as Senior Process Engineer at Consensum Production AB. He worked for six years as Senior Process Engineer and Process Control Manager, as well as being responsible for the R2R print line at Thin Film Electronics (Thinfilm) before starting at Consensum. Prior to working at Thinfilm he worked as Research Associate at The University at Manchester for one year. He has a PhD and BEng from The University of Manchester in the UK.

Thomas Kolbusch is Vice President of Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH, an equipment manufacturing company for coating, printing and laminating solutions located in Dormagen, Germany.

He is member of the board of the OE-A (Organic Electronic Association) in Germany, a global association for printed electronics.

He serves in the advisory board of Fraunhofer ITA institute. He served as member of the board of COPT.NRW, a local association in Germany, as well as exhibition chair of the LOPEC in Munich for five years. Thomas is active in the field of fuel cells, batteries, printed electronics, photovoltaics and medical applications. He organizes the international Coatema Coating Symposium for over 19 years and represents Coatema in a number of public funded German and European projects.

Kolbusch studied business economics at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and got his degree as business economist in 1997. He started his career at 3M, Germany. Since 1999 he is working for Coatema Coating Machinery in different positions.

Dr Matthew Dyson

Dr. Matthew Dyson has an MRes and PhD in physics from Imperial College London, in which he specialised in printed electronics, specifically processing-structure-property relations in organic semiconductors. More recently, he completed two years post-doctoral research at Eindhoven Technical University/Holst Centre, primarily investigating trap states and their effect on organic photodetectors. Over this period he has co-authored 13 scientific papers, collaborated with multiple institutions around the world, and presented his research at a variety of international conferences.

At IDTechEx, Dr. Dyson analyzes companies in the printed/flexible electronics space across the globe, assesses new technologies from both a technological and commercial perspective, and identifies challenges and trends. His recent work has covered flexible hybrid electronics, printed and hybrid sensors, 3D electronics, and materials for printed electronics.

Eisuke Tsuyuzaki

Eisuke Tsuyuzaki resides in the San Francisco bay area and is the founder of Bayflex Solutions, a systems integrator and data analytics software developer in flexible hybrid electronics, with distribution in North America and Europe. Currently, he serves in SEMI’s FLEX executive planning committee and IPC standardization activities.

Additionally, Tsuyuzaki is the founding managing partner of Nikkei Ventures, bridging US start-ups with Japanese companies in early stage investments. Previously, Tsuyuzaki was the Chief Technology Officer at Panasonic North America where he led numerous new consumer and enterprise products and services from concept, standardization corporate partnerships and market development. Before joining Panasonic, Tsuyuzaki held executive positions at Sony Corporation and Sony Pictures including as Senior VP of Digital Operations and Business Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Tsuyuzaki holds a BSc in economics from Tokyo’s Sophia University and graduated from the Stanford graduate school of business. Previously RCFE certified, awarded an Emmy in technical achievement, Home Media’s Home entertainment visionary award and recently for special recognition by the IPC.

Harit Doshi

Harit Doshi has over 20 years of entrepreneurial, general management, product development, and new business incubation experience in the Displays and Electronics Industries. He is currently CEO at Omniply Technologies. He previously served as a Senior Vice President of Product, R&D, and Commercial at AerNos. Prior to that he was General Manager for E Ink’s Digital Signage Business Unit and had various R&D positions at Corning Inc., in advancing next-generation display materials. At E Ink he played an instrumental role in developing and launching the world’s first electronic paper eReader display to the marketplace; where revenue grew to $500M+. He is the chair of conventions for Society for Information Display (SID), a global organization covering the interest of the $130B display industry. Harit has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Polymer Science.
